Once upon a time....
Right Resources was founded by Janette Beetham - a business professional qualified and experienced in the delivery of business advice, personal development and support services in relation to 'processing differences' such as; Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia (Developmental Coordination Disorder). Janette is herself Dyslexic/neurodivergent.
With more than 15 years experience in this field Janette has been keen to find and develop resources to enable organisations & individuals adopt more 'accessible', productive, 'people friendly' work practices and provide solutions related to helping neurodivergent individuals engage and work more effectively. Janette likes the variety of working with individuals within the workforce delivering one to one strategy coaching to help them cope more effectively with their work tasks - as well as working with the organisation on their larger, 'macro' organisational/business processes. She has a wide range of experience across all sectors including working with:
Manufacturing *Engineering * Retail * HR Professionals * Entertainment * Universities & Colleges * Trade Unions * Local Authorities * Training Organisations * Ambulance Services * Utilities * Finance * Legal * Telecoms * Medical * Social Services * Museums & Libraries * Sport & Leisure * Pharmaceuticals * Petrochemicals ..... & more
We work within different types of organisations, with varying work cultures, helping clients find the right resources (and/or helping them find more accessible ways of using their existing resources) in order to get the best results from each individual in their workforce. This in turn facilitates individual well-being, reduces workplace stress, increases productivity and as a result this can have a positive impact on the organisation's 'bottom line'. As well as being the Founding Director of Right Resources Limited she is also founder of three accredited training programmes: Dyslexia Champions™ (OCN Level 2), Neuro-inclusive Practice™ (OCN Level 3) and the Neurodiversity Aware® training & accreditation at OCN Level 4. Janette discovered her own Dyslexia during her late 30’s (having struggled quite considerably - without knowing why) and she started up the company in order to have a platform for the specialist work she was doing in relation to researching, developing and delivering services related to supporting those with dyslexia and associated neurodivergent 'conditions' in the workplace. She is driven with a passion to ‘make a positive difference’.
Janette's work background includes; being a manager for the Princes Trust, a Business Counsellor, a Business Start-up Adviser and trainer (previously delivering all BusinessLink Southeast workshops dedicated to supporting new businesses) as well as being a Senior Associate for the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) with a tutoring lead on their national programme for Workplace Needs Assessors.
Janette is a Member of the Institute of Consulting, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a ‘Senior Consultant to the BDA’ (British Dyslexia Association, 2017). She has written articles for several BDA publications including; Dyslexia in the Workplace, The Dyslexia Handbook 2017, 2018, 2019 and the recently published 2020 edition). Janette is also the Staff Dyslexia & Specific Learning Difficulties Consultant at Imperial College London and she has a published paper related to her work entitled: Workplace Dyslexia & Specific Learning Difficulties―Productivity, Engagement and Well-Being
In recent years Janette has been joined by two Associates, both of whom are also workplace specialists, British Dyslexia Association qualified , dyslexic/neurodivergent themselves and each echo Janette's enthusiasm to help ensure all workplaces are equipped to support a neurodiverse workforce.

"I was delighted when Margaret Malpas invited me to write the chapter on Workplace Coaching for this British Dyslexia Association publication.
I feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to work with so many truly amazing individuals over the years and these people are such an enormous inspiration to me.
